About the Role
We’re looking for an Assembly Operative to join a busy and growing team in Rainham. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in assembling high-quality products, ensuring everything is built accurately and to a high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Assembling components following clear instructions and quality standards
- Building, testing, and packing finished products
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Following health and safety guidelines, including use of PPE
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
- Reporting any issues and suggesting improvements where possible
What We’re Looking For
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is helpful, but not essential
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work accurately
- Basic computer skills
- A team player who can work in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Willingness to carry out repetitive tasks and stand for periods of time

- Updating basic production records
The successful Warehouse Operative will need:
- Previous warehouse, production or similar hands-on experience
- Good attention to detail
- Confidence using basic technology
- Basic Excel skills
- A reliable approach and strong work ethic

Process Operative Salary: £26,000 per annum

What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the production process to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and to a high standard.
- Mixing materials and operating production machinery.
- Assisting with coating, printing and embossing processes.
- Loading and setting machine cylinders where required.
- Cleaning equipment between production runs.
- Inspecting finished products and packing orders ready for dispatch.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
- Following health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
- Helping minimise waste while meeting production targets and deadlines.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
- Good English and Maths skills.
- Comfortable following written instructions and production procedures.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good colour vision.
- A positive, reliable attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Physically fit and happy working in a hands-on role.
- Flexible to work rotating 2 or 3 shift patterns when required.
